Meeting Zander for the First Time - August 24, 2024

 

How demure sat my little man the first time I saw him. I had gone to the Monterey SPCA out of desperation to find my next travel companion as solo adventuring just wasn't for me. Granted, Mr. Tuxedo cat already came across as a class act with his snug tuxedo hugging all of his best attributes, so I knew he could be the perfect addition to my golden adventure van, Goldbug. With all the stately seating, I figured his mood would suit long drives in tight spaces.

I filmed this video to seek out the advice of my original adventure companion, my son, Sean, who was now off braving his own adventures at university. Perched high atop this cat tree, Zander's calm demeanor demanded that I notice him. His regality was evident from the first time I laid eyes on him; this young kitten was born to be worshipped.

So I took him home knowing that he would be loved to the end of time and would receive adoration no matter where we went.
